May sounds like a pretensious or dumb word but I recently realised that I'm bisexual but not biromantic.
In that, I'm sexually interested and aroused by both men and women but only romantically interested in women. I have no interest in dating or making an emotional connection with men in the same way I do with women.
For years I've felt uncomfortable calling myself bisexual because of this and I felt I was encroaching on people who were fully bisexual or gay. But now I realise that I am.
