I too, always want water and salty crackers too (sodium is required to rehydrate, so it makes sense). The only other thing I can ever stomach is a banana (which also makes sense to replenish the potassium levels). I’ve never heard of olives as a hangover cure but that also makes total sense; olives are rich in monounsaturated fats, which are less easily damaged that polyunsaturated fats and help produce energy-producing cells. Olives are also a rich source of vitamin E, which lowers inflammation, which is essentially what the headache is. It’s amazing if we listen to our bodies, it’ll tell us what we actually need.
