well first off I'd have to ask if you're truly making an effort to get chatting to people on here?
do you go into the chatroom and involve yourself in the general chat and just get to know some of the people?
do you go to meet&greets?
i would think it very hard to find someone willing to do a random meet without even a minimum amount of chatting first?
for a lot of people it's all in the chase, and this bit turns them on....

Personally I think if you consider/view/believe yourself to be bad looking then that's the impression you give off. it's all about confidence and being happy with and in yourself.
I don't think you should be looking for someone to "take you on", you're not a burden! You should be looking for someone to enjoy fun times with you finds you and your personality/qualities attractive....
As for the perfect 10, there's no such thing!EVERYONE has their flaws and things they don't like about themselves, why waste time focusing on them though - focus on what you do like, everyone has assets to!

I think there's no problem going off with someone else (and fair play!)...but the leaving a voicemail thing...can't say I agree...seems a bit immature...
And if you're seeking revenge on someone who you had only met once before for what I'm guessing was a bit of fun - perhaps you like her more than you think or want to admit to yourself...otherwise it wouldn't have bothered you so much that you felt you had to get revenge for her canceling...
People cancel all the time for a number of different reasons, maybe she didn't want to go into details, maybe she flaked...you had a good night in the end anyway!
