In terms of becoming a mod do you contact the owner? do you contact admin?
Or do the mods put forward names of friends of theirs on the site who they believe would make good mods?

People who email using texting shorthand. I totally hate it. Im not a codebreaker for the CIA or MI5, so stop that crap please. God our kids and grandkids will be illiterate if that kind of communication keeps up. Every generation will just get worse and worse at it. I understand that people use it in texts and that is ok as you are only allocated so much space per text, but emails are not restricted by space so why do some folks insist on typing emails as if they were text messages?

so here is the thing.. a lot of females like to have their whispers on so they can chat to each other and id love that also but lookk at what hassle it causes...
1st you hear a female has been hassled by a whisperer and the room gets agitated..
2nd.. the poor mods have to work 5 times as hard because of the hasslers simply because the females want to have whispers open and yet complaine whrn they get a nasty whisper..
so here is my suggestion..
disable your whisper and if a girlfriend wants to chat open it for a bit and then disable it again .. it works wonders for me as i got hassled constantly.. .. its funny as i only remember to disable when i get my 1st whisper and straight away i disable..
so id encourage all to disable as much as possible.. saves the mods endless extra effort...

Shycouple, I do see your point, and respect your feelings on this matter, however some people on here are exhibitionists, something I cannot claim to not being myself. to quote an old and well used adage; "If you have it, flaunt it".
Does anyone else on here have anything further to add?

Can anyone explain why this is? Has there been some kind of security breach? Has anyone found that an institution or university has used their details / photos in a study of somekind? I'm just curious as we dont have this warning on our profile and are also now a little worried that we are now open to some kind of publicity. Is it imperative to have such a warning in order not to have your details used?
