Knock backs aint nice, but some people aren't as diplomatic as others and quiet possibly thats the first thing that came to mind, and in hindsight she may think she could have handled the situation better. i have met people that I just didnt click with and I would always try and make it clear while being considerate that I have no more interest than the initial coffee/Drinks.
