I think there's actually a very simple answer to all of this and it has nothing to do with the site being for couples and single females only

At the end of the day people have things they like or don't like. Some like single males but only like a particular type of single male, or couple or single female for that matter. It's all about what tickles your fancy really and not everyone will do that. Also on the meeting verified and commented members I have to agree from a female point of view I would have in the past be only inclined to meet someone who was verified and that's purely for my own personal safety and well being and I don't think any single female should feel the need to excuse themselves on that basis.

Now we dont refuse single males at our parties simply cos the single girlies do like them as does Mrs Sugar. But like others have said above no member is comfortable meeting a non verified member which is where meet and greets come into play.
Simple as this: if you dont put in the effort you get no reward.

No you will need to get verified and this will happen if you attend M&Gs and actually make conversation with others in attendance. Sitting in a corner at a function on your own gets you nowhere.
Some say go into the chatroom but nah that wouldnt do for us. We would either have to meet you at a M&G or see that others have met you IN PERSON before we would consider meeting you. Just cos we spoke in chat dont mean anything to us. After all a single guy may not be what he says he is in a chatroom.
To catch a predator put me off relying on chatrooms as proof of who people may be.
So regarding "clicks/cliques" yeah there are some and anyone who says that there arent are either lying or just blind. But you dont have to be a member of one to get some swing action on here. All you need is to make the effort at a m&g or two and you should see some kind of result.
My definition of cliques in swinging would be a group of people who are friendly with each other and who constantly swing together, who laugh at each others jokes in forums and who continually slap each other on the back for the smallest things. Not really our kinda thing but quite a few people on here seem to need that grouping of strength. Besides all that, we would find fucking the same people over and over again quite boring.
Variety would be our preference

Got a post from a single male, which said very little except that he was what I was looking for with a photo attached to the mail. I responded politely saying that I wasn't interested and happy swinging.
I then got this back:

Well, reading between the very confusing lines...now it's my fault I'm not interested because I'm in the click (sic) and it doesn't involve single males. I am wished well in my continued membership of the click (sick) and that this place is a waste of time. From careful review of my comments, you can see that I am not someone who doesn't like single guys. In fact, I like them very much!
So, this is a good example of why sometimes, it's easier to not even answer emails unless you are interested. Gah!!

I was talking today with a member of the site who I trust and that member told me that moderators have access to members private galleries and also members mails both sent and received.
Is this true? The pics i dont care about as mods have to approve all submitted pics anyway but I would be quite worried if mods can read correspondance between members.
