Costa Adeje, Pl. Las Americas and Los Christianos are all together..plenty pubs, restaurants. Ave de las Americas has a dancing fountain and a big underground shopping centre (under Parque Santiago lll apartments).
Ive heard there are a few Swingers Clubs there, if you search "swingers teneriffe"
If you are intrested in scenery check out El Teide the third highest volcano in the world.
If you are intrested in scenery of a difrent sort there is a naturist beach 16 km east of Pl. las Americas, due south of TFS airport called La Tejita.
If you are hiring a car, I would recommend Autoreisen, cars for less than e14 a day and include no excess. It is easy to drive there as the locals are very patient with tourist drivers. One warning though, on roundabouts they can go all the way around the roundabout in the outside lane.
