haven't been to a club in Budapest but this may be of help to you Be aware of rip off scams all of the time, lots of people there trying to rip you off. Don't get a taxi on the street, unless you absolutely have to. At the airport, use the desk in the terminus and use your hotel to book all other taxis. Tourist offices will help too. The underground is good but there's only three, the trams are cheap and reliable. If anyone approaches you looking for help or offering help, move away, it's part of a rip off scam. Having said that, it's a beautiful city, with lots to see and do. There's little risk of being mugged, they prefer other methods. Get the city bus tours and that way you'll see most things and can decide which ones to go back to. Buda castle is fantastic and there's a fort on Gellert Hill, well worth a visit, if you want to learn about WW2. Hero's Square and the galleries on it are worth a visit too, as is the park behind it and the castle 's lots of galleries and museums elsewhere too. It's also well worth going on a river cruise. Some just go up and down, with no guide, some have a guide and some stop regularly to let you off and you can get on the next one, when you finished at that site. So be careful which one you go on. The main tourist area is beautiful and lots of shop, if that's what you're looking for. Hungarian manners are not great and if you go outside the main tourist area, service is bad and grumpy. That's all assuming you'll have energy remaining after a night of wild sex. Enjoy your trip and if you want more information, let me know. My wife is from Budapest and we'll advise you, where we can.
