Hi Marie - as a smoker I actually do fully appreciate where you are coming from. But one thing I hate is a smoking room in a hotel - they always stink no matter what. It should be left to be an outdoor event only and so save everyone the discomfort of it.
Oh btw if I was to meet you I would give up the smokes for the duration of the meet..... I'd have something much more enticing than a ciggie to occupy my hands and lips/mouth lol

Clara I am a smoker but always make this clear when arranging meets :wave2: I can understand where you are coming from, at the times I have given up I can truly appreciate how it feels to twiddle your thumbs while someone is on a fag-break. Smoking hotel rooms do stink, it's the first thing to hit you when you walk in, it's not the most erotic scent. I hope joining the group Marie refers to makes life so much more pleasant for you.
Non smoker here Clara, 
however I was once a smoker and do understand what you mean from a smokers point of view and now (thankfully) a non smokers point of view.
When I have people visit my home I don't have any probs with them smoking in fact I insist they do smoke in the house rather than go outside as I know what it's like having to do that.....however the smoky hotel room is a turn off esp when you awake to a cloudy smoke filled stinky room 
But thankfully there are more and more people giving up the habit nowadays :thumbup:

As someone who detests smoking, I have had enough of enduring smokers on 1 to 1 meets. Be it being abandoned in pubs while they go out for a 'puff' or having to book smoking rooms....

I am a smoker , and I cannot understand why non smokers do not put it in their "profile" , e.g. I am a non smoker and prefer to meet non smokers or I/ we are smokers ................ simples really

Hey , i used to smoke 7 years and i give it up , its the most disgusting thing ever to smoke , your nails and teeth going yellow , your breath in the morning is like toilet , and by the way nicotine is killing your brain cells , so if anybody can tell me one good thing in smoking ?? and i dont think that u can get addicted ,its a way of life , to hide behind something. I used to smoke 40 cigarettes day and i give them up without any magic tricks , so i know if u have character u will give them up in no time .

hi guys i smoke and it is hard to meet ppl that smoke or like smokers and dont think ppl should be judged by them smoking if i could give them up i would be sadly cant but might someday xxxxxxxxxxxxxx suzie

Smoking or Non-smoking are simply preferences, same as tall or short, thin or not so thin, male or female, etc. 
Even though I prefer non-smokers, of course I have dabbled within the clouds of smoke.... had lots of fun and got over the coughing and spluttering !!!

I smoke, I have tried and failed on more than one occasion to give them up, but not for one minute will I let anyone judge my character on the fact I have a nicotine addiction.
Nocturn, a measured calculated response to a thread doesn't go amiss at times you know.
