That's a bit presumptuous, isn't it? I think a quick look at my profile, as well as some of the threads I've replied to (plus the fact that I mentioned hoping to hear from a couple in this thread), will show you that I'm very much about the swinging lifestyle. And the fact that I've been verified by the people I've already met will back up that I'm not just here looking to "shoot my load". If I just wanted that, I'd quite happily just sit and have a wank. But there are times when it's as much about meeting people, interacting, having fun, times when you'd like to meet somebody who has the same approach to this whole thing. That's pretty much what I posted this thread for.
I kind of thought that would have been assumed since that's what this site is all about. Glad I had a chance to clarify it though - it never occurred to me that the thread could have been misinterpreted that way.
The forums are full of people looking to meet at short notice, only thing is that the women will get a thousand replies to he average guys one.
I tend to agree that generally the meets that happen after some time chatting are better. But still, the spontaneous spur of the moment, jus plain get down and dirty short notice meets can just be sublime -0)
Exactly - I've done both. And yes, emailing back and forth before a meet can definitely make it a lot of fun to meet somebody for the first time already knowing a lot about them - but I've also had the experience of placing an ad, having a reply, meeting the couple in question and all of us heading back to my place, all in the space of about 6 hours! They were very keen and I was only too happy to go along with them! Neither is necessarily better, I guess it's just whatever you're in the mood for at the time. Nothing wrong with being spontaneous at all...
I think the spontaneous meets are only really possible with someone you have previously met on here as what I have found is, despite yes there are loads of open minded ladies and couples on here seeking males, they sure as hell wont meet at the drop of a hat with someone they know nothing about, the old saying me dear Gran used to have'you wouldn't buy a pig in a bag would you?' springs to mind....While optimistic, and believe me I aint shooting down your efforts for the sake of doing so, I will say that the chances of an off the cuff meet with little or know prior interaction with the other person/persons are slim, and in the cases of you getting a positive reply I would have a good think about the other party's motives/genuineness.
Logistics!!! That's the problem with short-notice meets. So many "If's": - If there is someone local enough to make a meet feasible, without a mega-cross-country drive/train or bus ride. - If there's a sitter available when there's bairns to be taken into account. - If there's enough knowledge of each other to undertake a last-minute meet and know it's safe to go for it! - If work/home commitments mean that there's time to actually enjoy a meet without feeling rushed or abandoned very quickly when one party has to be back 'on duty' sooner than is comfortable. I'm sure you all can think of others - but I need my bath now :giggle:
