have to say i don't normally do post's in forums but as needs must when my lifestyle choice is being dragged through the mud for no reason and with out proper research on behalf of the so called journos . I have to say this article has put this event on the seedy side this is a social gathering few drinks bit of a bob or dance to younger folk on here ..... as a swinger of many years i dont judge people i meet on their social status wealth i engage with them on a personal level if we have a connection and we feel it is right we go for it. We for one have made friends for life from here the trust and companionships laughs and craic we have had over the years out do my civie friends on many counts.
But to put this in perspective this is a fancy dress party like the thousands happening across the country on the night drinks,laughs,dancing,chats meeting new people from across this island breaking down social norms ..... the reason why i said the last was society has put rules on us to conform too but should we no i am an individual i don't harm anyone i go out of my way to be helpful and polite and respectful to all in this lifestyle from LGBT straight or whatever your choice maybe but one thing is i dont judge till i have walked or at least understood how it is to walk a mile in that person's shoes. The Gay community have gone through this now is our time be proud be strong don't let the bastards grind you down ........the system is broken time for change time to move on time to put young people in our antiquated goverment and more women make it reflect our society as of today more open honest and forgiving than it is now ......
ps fair fooks to the venue for holding strong our privacy no comment on events or guests as a hotel should be run and may they reap the rewards in business and cash as we do tend to spend alot on room service and at the bar lol

well we read the paper yesterday ,and cannot understand how this woman found out about the party advertised on a couple of sites it said ,unless she is on here her self .papers can pick up and try to put together there own hell they have it wrong,Agree with others on here, have met lovely down to earth people, night out getting to know someone .Its a halloween party holy shit is that not allowed in Ireland anymore .Which im sure will take place around the counrty anyway is the papers picking up on that .In our view what people do behind closed doors is nobodys business but there own. Anyway we think its about time hotels
should start to respect swingers for what we are and realise were all is to say you could be woken up durning the night next door to a couple making noise ,not even part of a party .....who do we phone the irish independent the sunday world ....The counrty should get a grip ....What do they think swingers are ??....Jack & Nora well done for all your hard work and getting people together .. dont let them spoil it xx
we think in our option someone on here rang up pretending they were going there themselfs with there kids just to spoil it ,boaring life they have so .....As we said hotels should respect us for what we are and not word of mouth and the weekend should prove that ..

It was a great meet and greet and very well ran! Thanks again folks!! Thank you to the hotel too for the effort and trouble involved for them. As always I doubt if they had any issues to deal with other than the counting of the money they made from the social event. :thumbup::thumbup:
