: For me as a newcomer to this site, it looks great, so much more open & friendly than others. Even the awful "no single males need apply" stigma isnt trashed out time & time again. So many lovely girls email back, even though they may not be interetsed. Then, I come across a single meeting evening bieng planned. Superb idea & hopefully I will get an invite. For any girls reading this, I would love to say hello, meet you if you wish & I will send you a face pic, just ask. Thanks to all thos e great people behind this site. Gavanlol
wave welcome to the site!
Hey there. Wow, there's a lot of noob. Yay. I'm not alone! It's going to be a good summer. smile
thank you all for your welcome. much appreciated. got a bit of single male syndrome. sometimes its a pariha feeling when reading the screaming NO SINGLE MALES on the profiles. I can understand the splurge of emails/replies that are sent by the unusually high ratio of males to females on sites such as this & the infantile content of a lot of it. But for the genuine single male, of which I am one, treating a lady or couple with respect is paramount. It is what makes the sexula experience so enjoyable & so much fun. Wish there was a way of separating the chaf. Gavan
From what I can gather is the wheat and the chaff are separated via meet and greets and forum persona. As I said in previous post that it is a bit off putting that the whole single male thing is what is but I understand completely why that is the case. I think the misnomer though is the term "single". When you are part of a community and social group such as this and you become part of it in more serious sense then you have created relationships with these people and via that very fact you are no longer "single". Agreed. Its nice to be part of an understanding community of people. Like any community its made up of parts, the sum of which makes it was it is. I like the moderator concept on this site. Not for policing because thats not necessary but for giving the jerks no place to hide. Instead of NO SINGLE MALES, I wonder if there is other softer language that would get the message accross wihtout the sledgehammer. At my stage of life or at any stage, I dont think one should feel not wanted. Gavan
Ive stopped even thinking about it. I will only ever go where I'm wanted. If some day I get to the stage where I am invited to a party as a single guy then I will go. I accept wholeheartedly what is meant by "no single guys" and it doesn't bother me anymore. Though it made me a little nervous originally when I signed up and was part of the reason that I didn't post for an age.

The reason some couples seem to be shouting it out is because despite making it clear that they don't wish to meet single males, they are still besieged every day with messages from single guys wanting to meet. It is in despair that many of them type NO SINGLE MALES!
It can become a real pain in the arse!biggrin
