Just wondering if there's anyone out there who has felt as gobsmacked as I do right now. Not really the place for it, but I'm just so flabbergasted I just have to share this :-)
Had my first ever encounter with a psychic/medium very recently - a group of my friends had organised a psychic to do tarot readings for us all as something different from hitting the pub :-) I wasn't too pushed with the idea, it was going to cost 50 quid a head; and I was always skeptical of people in this trade. But on some level, I always had a little curiosity to see for myself if it was all aload of crap or if there was actually some way that a complete stranger could tell me about my life, my future etc without using vague generalisations.
So on I went for our hocus pocus, spooky night in. During my 'session', I tried to be as much of a blank canvas as possible so as not to give any indication to this guy of what my life was like; after all for 50 quid I wasn't going to help do his work for him!! :-) But not five minutes in, I could hardly sit still - I was nearly floored with the accuracy of my Reading. This guy was able to not only tell me things about my work life, social life, relationships, family and friends, but could actually identify several people in my life by name and was so specific with everything he said about them. Have never had a more surreal experience - ever. And I am even more curious to see if what he predicted will manifest.
The logical girl in me is having a tough time this weekend trying to get my head around all this. I just want to know if there's anyone here who has had a similar experience like me?? I'm not sure if I can call myself a skeptic anymore!!!!

Yip, had the same experience about 4 years ago. I had a big choice in my life to make and I really wasn't sure what to do, so friends of mine suggested I go see a white witch to send me in the right direction.
Like you I kept myself a blank canvas but again she was spot on with names in my past and present. She told me about things that would happen, my life in general in the future.
Lets just say that 4 yrs down the road, 3/4 of the major things she told me HAVE HAPPENED to me, I'd forgotten about them until after the event, but yes if they know their stuff, they really know their stuff...
This was the 2nd time I had a reading done, but the 1st time the girl told me that she just couldn't read me, so basically you will only get this sort of reading when your mind/body are ready to be read!!!
