Certain people are responding to whispers in the main certain people are copying and pasting genuine whispers into the chat as a pisstake. This is all fun and nice and dandy at the moment but in time ,if this carries on ,the whispering rules would be better fit to throw down the toilet bowel and flush. Moderators cant possibly be expected to follow this correctly to the nth degree,The mods are here to have fun and enjoy the chat too and even though some may not agree with me, i think it is just as disrespectful as unwanted whisper ,in the fact, that again mods, need to go to the nth degree to sort genuine ones from ungenuine ones. To expect a mod to kick unwanted whispers and then to go take the piss by putting up false alerts is disrespectful despite how funny it may seem. I understadnthat no harm is intended but this carryon doesnt help moderation of the site at all. Disrespectful crap, Westside.

If people didn't whisper without asking it wouldn't be an issue. Its a rule thats there for a good reason.

Fair enough admin but if someone copies and pastes a whisper as a laugh.
It happened yesterday and really ticked me because i cant possibly know who is close with who are encouraged to copy and paste unwanted whispers to they start doing it as a joke then what?
I see this on the screen,
Westside: xxxxx whispered hiya
or
Westside: 00000 whispered hiya
One of these is unwanted ,the other was copied and pasted to chat for a laugh.
Now could someone please tell me how im supposed to tell which is which?
Now i have a few choices,
(a) kick the whispering person (whether a laugh or not)
(b) try and tell the difference
(c) do nothing and ignore all copied and pasted whispers.
I dont mind but if this kind of stuff starts up , then it will get to a point where it is out of hand.

If someone gets whispered without permission, posting it in chat is very often the best way to bring that to the attention of the modeartors, if the whisperer carries on after being warned then they risk getting kicked or banned. If someone posts a whisper as a joke, to cause unrest or with the intention to get someone else kicked it needs reporting to me so that I can check the logs. Its not funny and goes against the whole ethos of the site, those doing it could ultimately end up being removed from the site for life.

Hi if somone simply says hello in whisper, ill usually say, hi ,thanks but im chatting already , does that , break the rules, i dont copy and paste those because usually its somone new, who is just saying hello, and i dont want to embarress them The thing is that when prolific chatters get on the main screen, its often hard for new ppl simply to get a word in , so somtimes they whisper, ( im talking bout males females and cpls ) I remember when i first started chat,, watching the screen for days , (not in here , way back i mean,) typing and deleting, thinking "oh ,i cant say that, its not witty enough, or funny enough , maybe some of them are just like that, ok its probally rubbish but its just a thought?
