As a single girl on the site I'm forever hearing about how I'm in the minority however whenever I go to a party or M&G there are always several other single girls there and the single guys are nowhere to be seen :sad: . I know from guestlist how many single guys look for invites and confirm they'll be there yet they always either cancel right beforehand or are no shows (I know several single guys who are very reliable and never do this so this but they're in the minority). So why when there are an insane amount of single guys profiles is it so hard to meet single guys???

Some live for the fantasy I'm sure and then there are others who may be more into the 1 on 1's and are intimidated about the whole idea of group play. Perhaps they love talking about the group play (or at least attending a party) but when it comes down to it they chicken out and don't see it through.
I remember how nervous I was at my first party, I love the buzz now that I'm experienced but some aren't in to it or are too nervous to find out... I know I have to suffer the bad effects of other single guys messing / unreliableness with some people thinking we're all like that.
Just a reliable verified guys opinion for what it's worth.
Oh Katie...its same old same old all the time....I find same when I am organising anything..Loads look for invites and then cacel last min or no show...and thats the ones that are verified..By the way not a single guy bashing thread...There are loads and loads of really great single guys too....
We know a handful of great reliable singles but ur right theyre in the minority....i think more of the singles are married/attached than admit on profiles so they rush in, ask for invites then cant get away from home. Maybe if the guys that are attached make this clear at least organisers can understand why they cant make a meet etc....for guys that are genuinely single ....sean ur right they dont know wat theyre missing but they stop others being invited to parties etc by not showing up ....guys wakey wakey the invites are there embrace them and go for it

Anytime I have seen you advertise a get together in Dublin I have thought there is no point in my applying to join this as MRS West will be inundated with requests and I'd not get a look in. Clearly not as easy to find guys in here as I would have thought given the amount of them on the site.

Why bother mailing someone as your mail will just be another in a long line of mails. It might be a defeatist attitude but you've probably sent enough mails in the past that have been ignored, and to be fair the ladies on here are probably so inundated with mails, and males, that they can choose to ignore.
I'v never stood a lady up or pulled a no show but I'v had it done on me manys a at one stage it was almost impossible for a single guy to get a look in anywhere .Havent been on here much over the last while so has that changed?

No you miss understand me, I have met mrs west cork socially and she is a stunner, even from her public pics you can see this, I just cant for the life of me understand how when she advertises looking for guys she is not inundated with guys looking for invites. and then when they do get an invite how they would not turn up.

I have been lucky with the ladies I have arranged to meet over the years with one or two exceptions they have always turned up.
I only have ever had to cancel one meet in my time here and I managed to give her 2 or 3 days notice and we did get together again after that.
I'd say I am the exception here but I think the key is that I take the time to get to know people in the chat room before I make an arrangement to meet them, even for coffee.
I think wilder hit the nail on the head .. Guys use this for one on one meets and in my estimation that's not swing .. And when they get an invite to something more they bottle ..
You can just as easily use dating sites and indicate a NSA preference in what your looking for .. Why come here ?
I think some of the one to one guys think they are guaranteed fun here ! Personally swing for me is about the out of the ordinary !
As arule of thumb a very wise woman told me starting out ... overbook .. At the party in January nearly all the single guys confirmed, showed up and there was no, no shows on the night . A few cancelled in good time ! But the perfect number was there .. Everyone had fun most more than once ..
I have had just one 1-2-1 meet since I joined and it was fun but nothing like the other scenarios experienced .
If your nervous to attend a proper swing event ask yourself one question .. Is it because you really don't want to so it ? Or is it just nerves ?
If it's the latter remember absolutely everyone experiences that's the first few times and that's totally normal ! Bite the bullet and go for it !

Is it really such a big problem with single males not showing to the party they were invited to? This comes as a surprise to me a little, to be honest. These might be lads that are looking to have an easy sex and are not here because of their naughty mind and desire to give pleasure and have something more than just the regular 1 on 1 play.
I am still due my first M&G and I am looking forward to meeting the community, so you can see I am here for a longer run. And sure thing, I will be nervous at the first party, I think it is only natural, however with the right company, the nerves should easy off quickly, so the fun could begin
