Just picking up on something that cropped up in another thread.
Has started me wondering, does romance have any place on a Swing site?
Okay most of us are seeking NSA fun, but, is there any harm in someone advertising for some romantic fun?.
Now personaly i don't buy into the Hallmark idea idea of Valentines, prefering the personal touch.
Last year I met up with a guy, hadn't seen him in ages, he was an old FB, we didn't go out for dinner, no exchange of cards, he didn't arrive laden with Red Roses.
However as he was leaving he handed me one small heart shaped sweet (probably ate the rest of the box) when I opened it he had a small note pushed inside, it read 'I never forget you'.
Come on folks fill this thread with romance!!

:smoke::Pwell belive it or not we are a very romantic cpl ,got engaged up in a hot air balloon ,married in a stone circle under a lebenese cedar tree ,we still leave each other little notes have our own txt code we go a lot off places that we think are romantic ,i got up and went to convant garden at 4 am on xmas morning to get fresh flowers for mrs , and belive it or not she would shoot me if i arrived home on valintines day with flowers this is a woman who adores fresh flowers and romamtic guestures ,:rose:

Of course it is possible to feel some level of romance Lurganboy if that is what you enjoy, why should it not?

I half agree with cork here I think you can find love/romance anywhere be it a swing site , a pub , a supermarket , anything is possible ... but I think coming on to a swing site and viewing it as a dating site , looking for love could end horribly ... if it comes your way and your open to it ..great .. but I think going by the content of this site ,it would be very naive of someone to sign up here looking for a potential partner .
As for romance .. I'm definitely a romantic at heart (don't normally admit that ) I'm not a big grand gesture type , I love the little things.. I think something small that actually requires a bit of thought by far out-ways a grand predictable gesture

have to say we r not overly romantic, but the mood does take us once in a while......we always spend new years eve on our own with a bottle of bubbles, Joolz on the telly, and no clothes on...end the old year on a good note, and start the next one in the same way :inlove:.

have to say as well we wouldnt be mr and mrs romantic lol i dont believe in valentines at all which i have to say the hubby is so happy about lol lol although my hubby is very good to me all year round but our romance would be to do little nice things for each other every now n again.
Hubby thou does some nice stuff for me not cos he needs to but cos u wants to i much perfer that than the whole corny romancing.
one thing i did love that he did for me was i was getting a particular rose for my wedding bouquets a cream outter petal with deep red / burgundy inner part called a nicole rose i wasnt too sure about it and the florist got 20 in to show me and when we went down to see them my hubby got them all for me.... i thought this was cute and nice also i have to say we might not be romantic but my hubby i know would give me the world if he could... i never have to ask for anything... to me that is love n romance...
