Due to Ryan Giggs being outed yesterday for having an affair with that hottie (Dunno her name) I'm doing a double play today, so here is the latest release from Dan Bull. Actually the song was released about a 2 weeks ago, long before Giggs was named in the mainstream media, however due to a certain other site that allows members to "tweet", the other so called "Super Injunctions" have all been leaked and are referred to in this song.

I had the absolute pleasure of seeing this song played live in the Olympia last night. Suede were performing their classic Album 'Dog man star'. Loved that album, opened lots of music doors for me around 1994 or so. Seen them a few times now but never that album in it's entirety.
When I think of that Album i think of listening to it on the train from college back to my folks place. A shy virginal 20 year old (yes I was all those things once

wow, that reminded me by sound, this song, written by Bob Dylan's son Jakob, its about a man who loses his wife and has to raise their child alone...its poetic as you would expect, and the writer has said the references to death are a metaphor, so its not as gloomey as it sounds at first!, he has said its about continuing a journey with one headlight, that may be not as easy as with two headlights, but just encouraging you that you can do it. Its gorgeous, emotional and very powerful.
