DJ JAzzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince - Summertime
Closest thing to crazy - Katie Melua
On a glorious day like today, it could only be: Bob Marley - Could You Be Loved :smoke: wink :color: "They wont miss their water until their well runs dry, and no matter how you treat them they'll never be satisfied" -- Such fantastic lyrics, and so true in life. Doesnt matter how pissed off you are or how bad your day is going. Throw on some Bob and your day brightens right up. Jah Rastafari

Will have to make a video with this as a backing track. Just have to work out what the subject will be. Any ideas people?

I'm thinking it would have to start off at the early stages of a swinging party with a large group of people, drinking, laughing etc.. all in slowmo... then eventually when the chorus kicked in....
...When you are with me, I'm free
I'm careless, I believe
Above all the others we'll fly
This brings tears to my eyes...
things would have proceeded to a sweaty orgy ;) still in slowmo and tastefully shot of course biggrin Let me know if you need a hand organising that!.. smile
Slow motion is good Wilder, intercut with colour, de-saturated colour, and black and white framing. Wilder are you any good at lighting a shoot setting? rotflmao

Van Halen - Sinner's Swing! lol
Disturbed - Glass Shatters What a thumping Rock Track
Mad World - Gary Jules. A brilliant song
Gilbert O'Sullivan - Nothing Rhymed Yes its old, but the lyrics are timeless, and in my opinion it is one of the best songs ever written from a lyrical perspective
P.O.D. - Alive The Chorus of this song came into my head yesterday and has been in there since..... so true...
Ice Cube - It Was A Good Day This song always reminds me of summer time when I was growing up. Hanging with friends in the local park. One of us would always have a little boom box with us. Always blastin out some Cube or some Dre or Snoop. Catchin rays on lazy days, kickin a ball & feelin like the world was so small. Summers back then used to seem like they lasted much longer. Miss those days.
Jerry Fish & The Mudbug Club - True Friends The song was used for Vodafone campaigns a few years back. Its a really beautiful song. The lyrics are very touching & heartwarming. Another song that always makes me think of my youth and the friends I made back then. Heres the video

That is indeed a classic, saw a great documentary on him last month, fascinating. Since you brought up timeless lyrics, a totally different tune but everytime I hear this classic I always pay attention to the lyrics...

Chemical brothers orton - Alive alone, deadly chillout tune where do i begin is class as well-
Madonna - Into The Groove Well basically anything Madonna released in the 80's is pure gold. Hard to pick one over the other, but today its Into The Groove. From the movie Desperately Seeking Susan "Live out your fantasy here with me, just let the music set you free. Touch my body & move in time, now I know youre mine"
Calvin Harris I'm Not Alone
Empire of the Sun - We are the people
The Rolling Stones - Gimmie Shelter
Scissor Sisters - Take Your Mama Everytime I hear this, I cant help feeling that it has a 70's Elton John air to it. Must be the piano in the track
