Ice Cube - It Was A Good Day
This song always reminds me of summer time when I was growing up. Hanging with friends in the local park. One of us would always have a little boom box with us. Always blastin out some Cube or some Dre or Snoop. Catchin rays on lazy days, kickin a ball & feelin like the world was so small.
Summers back then used to seem like they lasted much longer. Miss those days.
Jerry Fish & The Mudbug Club - True Friends
The song was used for Vodafone campaigns a few years back. Its a really beautiful song. The lyrics are very touching & heartwarming. Another song that always makes me think of my youth and the friends I made back then.
