So I'm hitting my dirty 30's year have always wanted a tattoo up my spine or on my side. Anyhoo I Looove tattoos always intrigued by them, if there's a meaning behind it or you just got it cos you liked it.
Do u think tattoos are sexy and from a guys or girls perspective what and where looks sexy and what looks tacky and a total turn off??
I'm not a fan of tattoo's that are gotten cause 'I thought it looked cute' I tend to prefer ones that have a story behind them, that said a few here and there do look nice on some Ladies, then the 'human canvas' look doesn't really do it for me either.
Well have to say some tattoos on a girl are really sexy. I would advise that you dont get one up your spine Kitten as this could be extremely painful. I got a tribal tattoo done across my shoulders while on honeymoon in Hawaii and when the artist reached the top of my spine the pain was excruciating. I think I may even have cried a little :upset:
I have seen a girl with a tattoo up her side and this was very sexy. I do like a small tattoo at the base of a girls spine, however some people have renamed such tattoos as "Tramp Stamps", but hey, I like them, and if you do too then dont allow anyone to dissuade you from having one done.
Tattoos on boobs are not for me, sorry to anyone who has a tattoo on their boobs, no offence intended, but I love boobies, and feel that having a tattoo done on your boobs ruins the overall look of them. That being said, I do go crazy for nipple piercings, so is that a contradiction I wonder??
No, leave the boobies alone when it comes to ink, I love boobies, seeing their shape, the shade of the skin tones etc, and just think that ink ruins the overall appeal of what are otherwise gorgeous boobies.
At the end of the day Kitten, it's your call, with or without tattoos, I'll still fancy ya
As a person who has quite a few tattoos I am a huge fan of them, no surprise there then I hear you say I have regretted getting a few and will have them re-done in time, but for the most I'm well pleased with them. I have heard the spine is quite painful, but a good 'registered' tattooist will know how to make it less painful and talk you through it, it's all part of their training! As you can see on my profile pic, I have one down my side it's 15" long, which needs to be re-done as it was never properly finished but I've not regretted having that one done. But I will say the pain was unbelieveable, 'I want me Mammy' kinda pain I personally prefer tattoos with meaning, (self expression) rather than just liking the design, I'm not a huge fan of the animal designs or flowers, but to each their own. I'm a tribal/celtic design fan. So Kitten go with it, but choose very carefully not only the tattoo or location on your body you are having inked, but most importantly the tattooist ensure they are registered and properly trained - not to frighten you off but there are a few health risks involved as there are with most things in life. Choose carefully, wisely and enjoy your tattoo oh and I'd love to see it when finished in a non-pervy kinda way ;)

Well as a person who knows nothing about anything lol..... I would say the other guys are right, as in the tattoo should mean something, which I know it does. But as col said it will be very sore getting it done on the the base of your back, but it does look very sexy. Where ever you decide to put it has to be your dicision, but where ever that maybe, I think you will look amazing, That I have no doubt x x x
Well seeing as I have a pretty big one and want more Id have to say im all for them. I find them extremely sexy on girls too. There was a time when I thought the opposite but in the last few years ive changed my opinion.
I also think its very hard to say to someone there is a particular type of tattoo you should get in a particular place. With me it seems to change depending on the girl. Ive seen similar tattoos in similar places on different girls and thought some very very sexy and some were not nice at all. Dont know why, think it depends on the girl and how she wears it.
I think you should definitely do it Kitten obviously taking heed on the advice that Amber etc gave but I have mine over 2 years now and like it now as much as i did when i got fact i probably like it more. And of course it goes without saying that if you need me to check out a few designs on that naked body of yours id be more than happy to give you my opinion :lol:
Go for it...... They can look very sexy on girls provided they are in the right place. Just think wisely where you want it - Friend of mine has one on her shoulder but regrets having it when wearing off the shoulder stuff for weddings and like. I think they are particularly sexy on a woman's side or thigh... mmmmmmm
Personally i'm not a big fan of tattoo's. i wouldn't fancy getting one myself but i know some can look sexy on women. for some strange reason, i don't think they look sexy on men! no offence intended!
but on women, a tattoo in a discreet area can be quite sexy. like the nape of the neck, or ones that just peak out of the top of jeans (kinda lower tummy area), suggests there's more to see...

I really love tattoos, when I see someone with some nice ink it really piques my interest - every tattoo has a story behind it - whether it's to do with where you were when you got it done, how you felt, what the tattoo itself means etc etc. I particularly love when I see people who look really conservative, with a sneaky tattoo hidden under a sleeve or a collar
I particularly think tattoos down a girls side are really nice, would love one myself but it is a really sensitive part of the body so not sure if I'd be Brave enough!! Down the spine is also very hot!

I have to say i'm a huge fan of tattoo's. Have 3 myself, all with personal meaning and all well thought out. Two of them, back and shoulder were not at all sore but the third is on my ribs!!! 3 hours of OMG but well worth it. If u think about it and don't rush into it u will make the right choice. When i got my ribs done i lived with the ink transfer on me for 3 days just to be sure i was happy with size placement etc. Might be an idea for u

Kitten, I implore you to think very carefully about it - I think tattoos can look lovely on young people but not nice as we age. At least you're planning to put it in a discreet place that you'll most likely have covered when you're wrinkly! But I'd be of the no thank you persuasion, it appears in the minority. Whatever you decide, best of luck; only you'll know what's right for you. :wink:

I've been thinking about getting a tatt for years and I'm glad I waited this long because I'm 100% sure I want to get one and I know what I want and it has a meaning very close my heart
I suppose the placement of it is the only thing I'm unsure of I love tattoos on the nape of the neck and on the shoulder I think they can look very sexy depending on what it is, how it's shown and how its carried off. buuutt I wouldn't personally go for one there because of what I work at and also I don't want it on show all the time, only the select chosen few will see it lol
I hate the term "tramp stamp" I think it's such a chauvinistic term. Like a woman is a slut and a man is a total legend for the same thing. Granted there are a lot of women with tattoos on their lower back but there's also a lot of guys with Tatts on their arm yet there's no stigma attached to that. Amber x finding the right tattooist is so important to me but would u believe none of my non swing friends have Tatts so advice is very short on the ground

As a woman with over twenty tatts i would say go for it, i have them on my arms, shoulders, boobs and lower back, it hurt most getting the large one on my shoulder, and lower back but the result was so worth it, ok i had to sit for the shoulder for over fours hours but the meaning behind it was worth every second. I have various types from fairys to cats and they all mean something.
But one piece of very important advice, think carefully about the design and for gods sake if you are thinking of getting a name, think again! trying to get a cover up is a nightmare and laser is more painful than the tatt. And yes i agree that as we age they can and do fade and if you dont look after you skin they can end up looking like a blue blob on your skin, keep them out of the sun and use a good body lotion every day.

hmmmm i love tatts and yes i have a few large ones myself and there very sexy on a woman, my advice is simple have a long think about what you want and try a henna tatto it stays for a few weeks on the skin get the design you would like were you want it, also do you have a good pain threshold?? so choose the size carefully, and should you need further advice you have my number, but remember a tattoo is for life... to get rid off will scare you also...

Kitten hun if you are sure about it i would say go for it...im a big fan of tatts just aswell as Mr S has plenty .... i think if they are done very well they can be so sexy... i wish i was as brave as you as i would love to get one but i must admit im afraid of the pain!!!! kitten hun shop around so many nice tattoos around. i do have few tatts meself no regrets and got them in my late thirties, as well as few piercing lol just be aware where your going to put few places that wont allow tatts visible in work place,how a tatt stop ya doing your job is beyond me but they do say some look very tatty, i say go for it girl your choice :lol: :lol:
