Swingtown - Anyone seen this?

I came home from the pub on Saturday night and turned on the TV at about 2am to find a show 'swingtown' on UTV. According to wikipedia Swingtown is an American television series created by Mike Kelley as a summer replacement series for CBS. The show was a period and relationship drama about the impact of sexual and social liberation in 1970s American suburban households, with story arcs involving open marriages and key parties.
Anyone see this? Makes for interesting viewing when viewed from a certain perspective... lol

Would love to hear opinions of anyone that's seen it.

Discovered this also by accident several months ago. Got the whole series and watched it all. Such a pity they only made one series as we loved it. Even though it's set in the 70's, still plenty to relate to. Plenty of nights we sat watching it and thought how cool it'd have been to go to one of those cool pool parties :-)

Yeah TV3 showed it actually, dropped after one season. It was good though!!

oh me and gary loved this ,, didnt know that they only made one series tho ,,:upset: was waiting for the next instalment ,,, ah well will have to imagine what they all got up to haha and my mind is very good at that mmmmmmm :swingingchair:

Lucy - I think you and Gary would have no problem making a second series. Just bring a cam along with you on your travels. Id say you would give the original series a run for its money. lol

Really enjoyed the few episodes of this I have seen, Not quiet up there with Madmen but the obvious interest makes it a close second.

Can anyone send me a link where they have successfully watched entire programmes online - spent an hour last night unsuccessfully trying to...was sooo close to buying the box set!! Why oh why am I so technologically inept? Does anyone want to be my tech support? (pref with mac experience) payment in kind!!! lol

Eden, I only saw that one episode myself. Tell you what, how about I buy the box set and you can call around to mine and we can watch it together.. I'll even provide the popcorn, can't say fairer than that!
