Are you a supporter of this, have you in the past or still do revenge shags?
Have to admit when I was younger I most certainly did, but now I am not a lover of the revenge shag, I guess time and age has taught me that I may get great sex and feel I have one up on someone, but it isn't worth my time and energy..
Now I am not denying that there have been occasions in my past where I have had sex as a means to make myself feel better, especialy after a break down in a relationship, but that was for my benefit not to get back at the person in question.
Probably because they simply were not worth the time anyway, and great sex in my book is better between two people who are there for each others enjoyment not for a means of revenge.

Almost 3 years ago now, I was nearly engaged. I say nearly as I had the ring in my pocket as I arrived to take my girlfriend out for dinner and the proposal. She had no idea I had it.
However, on arrival at the house I discovered her in bed with someone else, and as well as breaking my heart, it made me realise that I was so lucky not to have made a fool of myself. I returned home right away.
Now did I have a revenge shag? No is the simple answer. I was too hurt and it would not have fulfilled anything for me. In fact it took me almost 18 months before I had sex again as I couldn't get their image out of my head.
I do realise that some people will have a revenge shag as a way of getting even, but it was never the case for me. My heart was broken and took a lot more healing that an shag could provide.
When I was younger I admit I did have a revenge shag after finding out my fiance had cheated on me so I went out and fucked his best friend,granted the sex was great but it didnt acheive anything,Im much older and wiser now and yes have had my heart broken more times then I care to remember but for me revenge shags are a pointless waste of time and energy,if someone cheats on you breaking your heart,how is fucking someone else going to hurt them....Their already fucking someone else so its not as if their going to care any more or less then they ever of the matter is revenge sex serves no point so why have it.
Cant say i have ever cared about someone in my past enough for a revenge shag. But i wasnt one for relationships either so lol.
My ex hubby did have what he thought where revenge shags, had an affair with teddy while still married, hubby knew about it and to try and make me jealous he shagged some other poor woman, problem was i didn't care lol, and when i left him within two weeks he had hooked up with yet another poor woman and thought that would make me jealous. To be honest i was relieved he was with someone else, it meant he left me alone to get on with my life and build a relationship with teddy.
So personally i think revenge shags are a waste of time if the person your trying to get back at doesn't care one way or another.

I think this says it all ... if the other person doesn't care ... it may be a short term pleasure, followed by a long term guilt.... although I suspect Guys getting or seeking revenge sex will feel no guilt at all.
