Hi guys and gals, I chatted to a guy in here ages ago and today i got an e-mail from him saying hi ****** (my name) - how are you, where have you been - anyway take a look at this and he sent me a link saying ITS EASY, FREE AND SECURE and a link to click. Now i remember talking to this guy so i trusted him and as i have a great anti-virus that sends a pop up to anything dodgy , i clicked on it. Immediately i got a pop up saying WEB FORGERY and it said that THIS WEB SITE HAS BEEN BLOCKED FOR SECURITY REASONS. IT IS DESIGNED TO TRICK YOU INTO REVEALING UR FINANCIAL OR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND CLICKING ON IT WILL REVEAL EITHER OR BOTH. Not everyone has very good anti-viruses and so might not get that warning so im telling people to beware of e-mails u get from people on here and only open those of people that you totally trust and not random guys u may have chatted to once or twice and havnt heard from in a while Just a heads up and dont want to scare people xxx

Hi Guys, Seen the mail that was sent and it is a nasty virus. Both us and badgirl are running Avira anit-virus (Free version) and luckily it caught it before it did any damage. Be on the look out as this may catch someone and might cost them a pretty penny!!

Moral of the story, here, is keep your anti-virus software updated, have you any doubt's I strongly recommend using "AVAST", it's free and weeds out Virus's ect.. that AVG can not find! Also consider using MOZILLA ( FIREFOX) as a browser. Padd's

along the lines of badgirls message people seem to be having their accounts compromised either through a link with or mails that they have received on on other networks. personally a while back I felt that either my account on the same network in question or pic on here were compromised some how. It seems to be happening again that members are receiving mails on a certain network and somehow by clicking a link in the mails their profiles here are being compromised. As I am not a techie don't know if its possible but it sure is a coincidence that having clicked on link and replying to message a person's profile seems to have been compromised. Just a word of warning to everyone, unless you are absolutely 100% sure about the link be wary of clicking on it and be wary of who you give your profile names to. (had network name in original post but it removed, understand why)

Raven,
I swear by it, to be honest, AVAST has kept me safe and continues to do so.
There are a number of concerns at present about site security! let me tell you, I for one have never had my site access breached and am confident that it will never materialize.
If any user has any doubts, then I for one, suggest they immediately,
Log in and change their password.
This Site is a secure site, and probably the best secure site for swingers in Ireland, that said virus's spread, but spread from users giving out personal addresses from Both social networking and instant messaging sites and accepting or clicking on the links. Those Viruses, never originated from here! As most know I would be the first too contact ADMIN and complain, if that where the case.
All I say is, be careful, prior to sharing, only share your personal details with people that you trust. I have a motto " If in doubt, leave out"
Meanwhile, have fun in the knowledge,,,, the site is safe.......

Raven, with respect, to utilise "AVAST'S" full potential, you first have to remove your current ANTI- Virus, I reckon it's a pay for, without naming the big players? these days that focus on generating income, " We have a name" But being a big player, is not the best!
There are Loads of alternatives out there..... like we are here. for a reason. freedom of choice, Me being me... I ere away from certain browsers, I choose Firefox, Simply because it's the best, had I been able to Select "NETSCAPE" then I would of, a fab browser! But that's now history.......
Like I said,,,, changing of passwords is imperative. If in doubt. CHANGE.

I've been wondering for years how people manage to catch so many viruses....I've been on the net for almost 15 years now, have only ever had AV software running once (hated it, made my machine virually unusable), and have only ever had 1 virus, which I caught from an infected floppy disk back in the days of windows 3.1 (believe me people I have been a frequenter of some of the least secure sites around). After spending 10 yrs as an IT tech and seeing so many infected I came to the conclusion that the more you frequent sites run by big corporations orwith a high profile the more likely you are to get one, as these are usually what the virus authors target, and strangely enough are where a lot of these people work, or used to! What seems to be far more common now is spyware and malware - it's probably spyware that's responsible for the phenomenon of stolen logins and passwords.
