just want to throw this out in order to garner opinion on it ... So I am contacted by a male site member asking to meet and i agreed , limited communication apart from the odd chat here and there previous , so the day arrives and he texts me to ask my time of arrival to hotel ... bearing in mind I have never met this guy before and dont know him from adam , i rang him ... he proceeds to tell me he will be waiting in the room and will text me the room number when i get to hotel ... my reaction to this was as follows ... emmmm ive never clapped eyes on you before , the least you can do is have some manners and meet me in the bar first ...to which he replies ...I would not feel comfortable with that . He mistook me for a whore who had no qualms about meeting him and fucking him with no concern for my own safety . Now heres my question .... IS THIS NORMAL BEHAVIOUR HERE ? and if so no wonder the fookers cant get any real live woman to meet them . Opinions please .
Well Im not a girl (checks underpants) but if I was and that happened to me I'd have told him to f#ck right off with himself and hung up there and then. Im well out of practice in the meeting a girl / date scenario, but in my heyday (15 yrs ago) it would have been considered rude to act in such a way towards a girl (Swinging or otherwise). Whats wrong with meeting you in the lobby or bar, having a couple of drinks & a chat and seeing how the meeting goes before taking it any further? Why would he feel uncomfortable about meeting you in the bar/lobby? Id say he just wanted to get you into that room, and have his way without even the courtesy of buying you a coffee / lunch / drink etc. Hope you told him that the room he payed for would only be used to allow him to wank off alone ;)
There is no way I'd do a meet like that! I always have a coffee with someone first to see if there is a spark between us. I wouldn't take that kind of risk. I dont have a lot of time for play and id prefer to know than waste my time. He also has a cheek expecting you to agree to that kind of behavior. Any man I have ever met in a hotel has either collected me at my car or waited in Lobby/bar for me. Be careful when meeting someone in a hotel, have a person u know to text where u are.. Room number etc so you don't become a missing person! Ask about them on site, the girls will tell you straight out if they are messers/ time wasters or just plain weird. Look for verifications on profiles especially if they are on years with no comments or verifications.. Alarm bells!! So no this is not behavior I would expect or accept! Stay safe and have fun! I agree there can't believe the nerve of some people, that's a terrible attitude to have and that won't take him very far at all on here.
Biggirl wave ....i am gonna go against everyone else :eeek: but its the way that works for me. However i hope the men will take not that this doesn't work for everyone!!!I have in the past invited someone off site to MY hotel room that i have not met before and i have also had men come to my apt as well. I however chat, text, mail before i do and ALWAYS TRUST my instincts. I have been very lucky. I have also gotton to know them thru the chatroom, met them at a M&G or gotton a referral :giggle: (btw-if i have seen a comment on their profile-i have no problem mailing the girl to get the low-down). The reason why i do it this way is because i live in the backend of nowhere sad and i have men from dublin or cork coming to meet...but they wouldn;t travel 3-4 hours for a coffee--i guess it would be different if i lived in Dublin.
I would however have a problem going to his hotel room and even more so that he wasn't comfortable meeting me in the bar for a coffee or drink first smackbottom
Biggirl...i am sure you will have many of happy safe times here so chin up chick and happy hunting ;)
X worship
huny if he didnt have the confidence to walk down the stairs to the bar to meet you ,,, strikes me his confidence in the bedroom would be much of the same ,, so me thinks you would have had a shit shagg anyway ,,so lucky escape huny you did the right thing xxxxx lucy
Sometimes i really really wonder ...... I will just never understand some people. Am sorry you had this happen to you and i hope that you can put it behind you and not be too put off meeting other people. As others have said , do your research before meeting someone. A lucky escape i think. Sean
hi well first of all what a prat .... god it hard enought for ppl to get the stomack up to have a meet and to think he wante u to just meet in the room . no way any meet i have had (not to many i must say ) have allways been as follows , good chat in here for a while then a phone chat and if ppl are all happy then plan a meet but even at that i would have to meet some1 in a bar first just in case of second thoughts or the off chance that ppl just dont get on well thats my thoughs on the subject soth
I definitely wouldn't do that. It is a bit odd. Always meet in public first (apart from exceptional circumstances) And always trust your instinct.
Thats shocking behaviour! Weirdo alert. Fleeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
