hi guys just want to ask what is or was the way you told you are not their type let me know . i had meet fri meet a male i drove him too mahilde was told to park car which i did then he said he get ticket for car , so i waited in car got text on phone from male said he going to cover from the rain , then a other text saying that sorry hun you are not my type so i text back you could of said something when we first meet xxxxxxxxxx suzie so please let me know

There's another thread somewhere here about 1st meet expectations, I think it's better to set up a first meet as a social only, gives both the opportunity to let the other down more gently. We've had to say no a few times, and it is very hard to do, especially when the person is otherwise very likeable but there's just no spark.
If someone has travelled far for a first meet, it's more complicated of course. But establishing rules and then sticking to them is important. A couple we met with once have a rule that they always meet for at least two hours in the pub first before they go back to the house, giving everyone a chance to "suddenly have the babysitter ring", or whatever.

Me personally, i have to see a guys face on cam b4 i would even consider meeting him - thats not a vanity thing - i just like to know who im talking to - and id have to have had a good conversation b4 hand to let me gauge his personality.
If u have done this - my guess is the guy got cold feet - lots in here talk a good talk but when it comes down to it - they just cant go thru with it.

Sorry to hear that happen u suzie,he must have been mad to give u uo anyway. Have enjoyed talking to u in chatrooms before. I have been in a situation where i meet a coupl and just didn't find the woman attractive so just told her straight out it wasn't personal just no spark. i stayed with them and had a few drinks and an enjoyable night and went our seperate ways at end of night no hard feelings !!!!

i think suzi it happens a lot .... however common courtesy should have been to tell you he didnt want to go ahead as soon as he got in the car ...what kind of plonker would get u to drive him somewhere and then scarper??the mind boggles ....again perhaps he was inexperienced and lost his bottle at the last minute , having met you socially , i know you are a fine looking woman, just put it down to one of those things ...and carry on regardless . ava

Thats bloody awful. Sorry you where treated in such a dispicable manner. I dont believe the name and shame route is the one to go down it achieves nothing. But having said that a stern message should be sent too the person concerned. I like many others guys on here meet when arrange too meet, having chatted, texted and cammed prior. that man was no gentleman. Having met, gone for a drive & believing all is going well, ...then to be dumped by text in a carpark, is beyond belief.
& despite all the texts, chatting in the room & numerous to be told "your not my type"...choosey guy...& I bet he wasnt much of a catch either ... but given lots of guys on here would shag anything with a pulse, this gys wins the prize for "twat of the year" and should be a reciepient of a slap.
When it comes to the face 2 face, 1 on 1 meeting,I can understand the loss of bottle, even the "sorry but were not really clicking" but this is even worse than a "no show".
If it had been a woman that had gone to a meet & done a flit, it would nearly be understandable (ladies choice)as she might fear the guys reaction if he had gone to the bother of booking a room or a restraunt, but a guy ... what red blooded guy with a pulse says NO...:P

Fair and valid point, peeps like that give genuine males on here a bad name. I have had the pleasure of meeting Suz, We had great craic, it was not a swinging meet a mini meet and greet persay, Suz and Liam are great nice genuine people.
I'm really starting to despair with some of the actions of some people in this place. I cant believe anyone would do this to anyone, male or female.
And i'm not even going to get started on some of the stuff that's fired at people on cam.

I just find it unbelievably rude that someone would arrange to meet you get you out to a car park to just disappear! I completely agree that there should be a name and shame of any timewasters and speaking from the single male side of the house this sort of nonsense makes things evermore difficult.

Lets all be honest, we have arranged to meet and have to decline at the last moment, the difference here is that this WANKER ran! the rest of us would of either stayed and explained or made our excuses prior to the pre- arranged time.

Very true Padds and could lead to a lot of nasty issues being raised, there is enough rumour mongering takes place on swing sites, without a name and shame thread for god sake..

We all take a chance arranging meets, they go wrong for many reasons, Suzies experience was unpleasant, but it happens , and best put down to experience..
We are all adults and have to learn to deal with rejection, yes the guy was a dickhead but swing sites are full of them both male and female, just be glad Suzie you now know what he is..
personally i'd never meet someone til I'd got to know them really well, know we'll get on, and then arrange to meet on a social basis only so no pressure on either part. That way of you don't get on then there's no pressure or expectation on either part.
