Taken me some time to think of the right way of putting this thing in to words, but here goes, some will understand, and some, as usual will be as lost as ever lol
Have met some fantastic peeps from this lifestyle but still get amused by instances where 'they don't do what it says on the tin!' mentality, not sure why anyone would take the time to write a profile saying they are in to 'this' and they are in to 'that' and when you meet them unfortunately the 'they' profile has been written by only one half, or in some cases has just been written in the hope that some people can influence their own popularity amongst the genuine peeps who enjoy playing?
A number of users are under the illusion that fems and couples have it easy as they can pick and choose who they wish to meet, true to a certain degree, but as most genuine peeps have come across in this lifestyle there are quite a lot of peeps that keep certain things hidden, such as, they prefer 'bareback' 'she's not bi curious', 'cock mad', sure there is many more that can be added to this 'hidden' list, but thats not really the problem.
Ok so what i'm trying to say here is, why do certain swingers take the time to write a profile and then decide when/if you meet they tell you it was written to attract other swingers, because it was what was in their head at the time, but as time passes attitude changes?
From a personal point of view, and we've always stated this, meeting and having a laugh is all we aim to achieve from meeting people in the lifestyle, getting naked is a bonus, never a necessity ;)
Great post as usual Mr B, however as a longtime member I'm sure you already know that a lot of people are less than honest on here. Not only with their profiles, but in the way they conduct themselves also.
We have always been upfront and honest with people, sometimes bluntly honest, just a pity everyone else isnt the same. Too many bull$hitters and self-important and self-centered ar$eholes around that couldnt comprehend the meaning of honesty. But at least a lot of them play together which makes it easy to avoid them

Unfortunately the attributes mentioned not only by Baileys but by Alicolwic as Titan, has said has become more prevalent . But the one good thing is that it always comes out in the wash, having been on the scene both here and abroad and having seen many things come to pass, I learnt never hitch your wagon too early, and move on and away swiftly from murky waters, after all there are plenty of green pastures further along the horizon if one cares to look……god I love metaphors :giggle:

It does always come out in the wash, especially if you wash a 60 degree wash and use a good detergent lol
It would seem to me that you should talk about it in detail to one another before you make any commitments so you are all on the same page, but if that is what is being done and its not till you actually meet the person that you see there true colors, to me thats a little odd and can make things awkward, be upfront and like you said honest.
Well said Baileys . Alot of people here are having fun and enjoying the social scene but all it takes is one or two too ruin it .If people are honest straight out then the fun is all the better :lol:

well said as we have been on here a long time we still meet some wasters sorry but that is what i am calling them .Bonnyclyde are real peeps and our profile is a few lines not a long story but why o why do people put things on there profile when it is not them at all when you meet the Clyde and i what you see is what you get i do not hide that we are bbw and that what we want out of the site but we are honest and trustworthy and expect the same but a lot of peeps are not so i like to thank all the people who we have met and played with we haved had fab nights of fun but to the ones who just dont know how to play please please if ur not sure what you want dont arrange a meet it is for the best

Well we have been here a while now and anyone who has red our profile can tell we don't have much regarding our swing life to hide , Honesty is off the highest importance to use …both in giving it and receiving as with out it people get confused which leads to hurt feeling and bad karma …I have never had any trouble with tell thing as they are , We are what and whom we are, Not much point in trying to hide behind a lie as its soon fades and then one looks like a idiot in my book both for the lie and for the fact they have lost respectability and reliability which is need to enable a successful meet … Put in saying that I do understand the need for privacy as I am sure we all do , put over stepping that need in the hope off being liked , excepted , dare I say picked as a possible meet is wrong and will only end up with others thinking off whom ever it is with a decreased aspect off respect and lessens the likely hood off one getting to enjoy and participate in the swingers life style …So as the old saying goes ………Think Twice ………..
excellent post and i have to agree with all the above posters. We are very honest in what we are, what we look like and what we like.......basically what you see on here is what you get offline also.....we do get tired of being lied to ...of single people masquarading as couples....and of people not being who they or what they say they are.... ahhh i could rant all day about this but frankly these people are not worth the time and energy being devoted to them.... xxxxxxxxxxxxx
We've just joined the site again and have been knockin' around the other sites that admin prob don't want us to mention too. Had a horrific month on the one with three letters (Ah For F*** sake!). We think things are getting worse over the years.
Discretion is important to us and because the profile here is publicly viewable we're not saying too much but we wouldn't hide anything from anyone who emails to ask.
What we don't get is why there are so few full profiles, c'mon I know there's a recession but really, if you're into it put some effort in. And why so often the male half of a "couple" is invisible, as if all the ladies are going to go on a blind date and be a total push-over, jeez. We like girls who can use cameras, lol.
There's a European website which is absolutely hush hush and invitation only by personal contact, we're one of three Irish couples on it, not much to choose from but the honesty is really refreshing!
