we have lived in ireland for 2 and a half years now, and i've never watched it. Some years ago they tried to introduce it in the UK, but it went down like a lead balloon - I did catch about 5 minutes of it then, but watching Gay Byrne (or however you spell his name) was even worse than watching Terry Wogan. I would like to see Dara O'Brien or Colin Murphy have a go though, I'd give either of them a chance if they did it.

I love Stand-up comedians but Dara O Briain has a very muffled lisping voice, which I don't think would be suitable for that particular line of Show, especially not to take up a seat previously occupied by Pat Kenny, he's much better on a Show like The Panel. Colin Murphy might be okay but he can't take anything seriously. Outta that lot I think Neil Delamere might be the best ..... Yeah Gerry Ryan might do the job nicely ..... Would like to see Kathryn Thomas or Caroline Morahan have a go at a professional Slot like that ......

Please no...............not Gerry ponce face ryan.....lets face it he def has not got a mush for t.v...... I do like the Miriam o callaghan wan..:inlove: ..very cool attractive and apparently not to far up her own arse...... I also like the thought of seeing Dara o' Brian agh jaysus it would be great at least he can ask questions and is very funny too:evil2:..... And lastly....maybe......the fuddy duddy turbridy.. :inlove:To BullAndBoo......aw thanks for the recommendation guys, but somehow I really don't think they would let an Englishman do it, even one who has 50% celtic blood like meself.:sticky: I've actually spent a bit of time in front of a tv camera, and it's one of the few things that makes me REAL nervous - to the point of being almost unable to speak.:wank: Having said that, for the money they pay these folks I think I might manage to overcome it. boink
