So its almost the end of another year, time for reflection for some, looking forward for others, and maybe some changes here and there.

In march I joined swing! Its been interesting, I've learned quite a bit about myself, tried some new stuff and I think I'm more relaxed and confident from it!
I've made some great friends!
Bring on 2011... Things can only get better!!

....in answer to the thread title, I have but just a little :grin: 2010 was an eye opener for me in many ways but mainly for the good, I made a huge decision with the help of a friend and I can't thank her enough for her help and advice as it was the right decision. :smitten: 2011 just has to be better, but only I can ensure that will happen, although I know I'm in for a bumpy ride :smile2: Titan come back and have your say too :notes:
WEll to be honest I don't think I have changed much, I have learned a lot about others though, and sure if I learn something this last year its something.
With my fathers passing i think it has made me more understanding of how important it is to try and have a relationship with your father even if he doesnt live with you, so when they are gone you are not left with regrets. And the biggest change in me, knowing i am stronger than i thought by getting a Divorce and doing all the paper work myself.
Well i joined swing in July and i have to say it has definitely given me a lot more confidence (sometimes too much lol) and i have met some lovely genuine people on here. Saying that have had a shit few years so im hoping 2011 is my year, Happy New Year everyone xxxxx.
we never came on this site to learn anything,,,,and dont expect to,,,,it is the same on here as it is in normal life,,, we just get more attention,,,,it has surprised us tho how many ppl are influnced by others.. and listen to,, and judge others by what they hear ,,,, we have had an amazing time in 2010 and hope to have an even better time in 2011 ,,,,titan huny great post ,,,,,xxxxxxx
I think i probably have, as not had a great year as the economy keeps giving me a kicking, but i'm still here and will struggle on in the hope
that 2011 will get better
I'm a firm believer in what dont kill you makes you stronger, and life is usually easier with a smile on your face.

Well I can say that I have become more aware of the swing lifestyle in 2010. By that I mean that I have dropped any preconceptions I have had, and have seen swinging in a whole different light. Ally & I have met some really lovely people in 2010, and we have made a few new friends too. So yes 2010 has been a great year for us from a swing standpoint, and heres hoping 2011 is even more eventful :thumbup:

2010 in some ways was my complete year from hell, but in so many other ways, I look back on it as a year where I am finally learning who I am. I put a 6 year relationship to bed at the start of the year, and am finally starting to come into my own and am playing catchup with all the amazing experiences I have been missing.
I have completely changed in 2010, still changing everyday and am positive that 2011 is going to be my year of fun!!!!
well 2010 was the year we opened up to the swing seen full of fear and excitement all rolled into one, and i have to say that it has made us feel stronger and more comfortable with each other and not take each other for granted as can happen when you are in a long term relationship, so roll on the new year and see where that takes us:inlove:
Have to say great replies to the post. To say have friends that dont judge, that are just a txt away if i need to chat or share a problem.

I .about 8 lbs worth…n dotn ask me to do kilos, I dont , the converted numbers make it seem even worse.
On a serious note it has been a mixed year,,,,a financial disaster which doesn’t look as if its going to get better but I don’t think I’m the only one to feel that.
I’ve learned to cope with a loss,,,mates will kno what I mean, so that’s all I’ll say .
I’ve finally learned to forgive a terrible thing that was done a long time ago,,,
I’ve also learned to ignore the actions and comments of people who do not really matter.
Back to the important bit tho,,,any suggestions about losing the 8lbs ??????
