Right lads another rant here and i'm sticking me neck out.I'm fed up with the behaviour of most of the single guys in the chatroom. I was in there today and some twat was trying to start an arguement over whispering without permission i just like to say that they are the site annoys me to see people behaving this way and i wonder do people actually behave like this when there out in public.
I like most other people would like to be treated with respect and it a shame now to find that alot of the ladys and couples are now disablen there whispers because of this abuse which its harder for a single guy like me and others who are geniune and want to meet people. All i can say is please think with your brain and not what inside your trousers when in your chatroom,and please treat other people with respect that they deserve i know im not a mod and sorry again for the rant but it has to be said because im getting tired of it now...:fury:
Biggles with a single post you have stopped all the guys who incessently whisper, because having read your words of wisdom they now to a man have fallen silent and are no longer whispering, but joining in the ebb and flow of conversation in the room.
I mean that was your intent wasnt it? It couldnt possibly be that your post had more to do with impressing the laydees seeing as how it would have no possible impact on the loo laas that do the whispering?
im been a member for a long time and did find it very fraustrating at first but i hung in there and got to know the people and most of the women in here and when you treat them with the respect and dignity that they deserve it will happen , but for those who come here with the sole intent of being rude and abusive it sickens me , as i always say it costs nothing to be nice and polite but there are always that think with there pants instead of the brian and it shows the imature childish behaviour that women here and single men like myself will not tolerate but there are single men that like myself that do abide with the rules there here for a reason .... so please treat others like the way you would like to treat you...

I didn't post this to impress the ladys tom but it does get really annoying when the whispering starts esp when your trying to have a decent conversation with someone all you see is people saying please ask before you whisper its only common knowledge. I think it just out of good manners to ask first before whispering.
I agree Raven!! But rules are there and some people like to break them, it happens in all situations. Personally I ingore them, I'm the the chatroom having a laugh and enjoy the banter. I also try and keep up with whoever I'm whispering and unwanted whispers - well I ain't gona waste time on them or copying them into the main chat! If someone over steps the mark though and is rude, well they deserve to be kicked :giggle:

Biggles man, its a pain and we try to stop it, but we are never going to be able to stop it completely.
You need to develop a skin like a rhino in here sometimes, or you will end up driving yourself nuts.
Some people like to perve cams, some people like to be on cams, and some people like to wind people up, and the more they see people getting wound up, the more fun they have.
The easiest way is to ignore it as they usually get fed up of no one taking the bait and they give up, and go and report it so that something can be done about it.
When a full scale argument breaks out in chat or forums, it just adds to their fun, and ends up stressing people out in the meantime.
In a site with 000's of users you are always going to get some that are not nice and dont behave properly, but people need to be able to keep a cool head and ignore and report them so that the Mod team and admin can get it sorted.
Life is a bitch sometimes and some people have no manners, but thats life.

I agree 100% with sean0001. Thats the best response to this thread that Ive seen. Calm cool and collected and just ignoring the whispers will just annoy and frustrate the whisperer enough that they will leave you alone. Just act and keep acting like the whisper never appeared and they will go away. Well said sean0001, and you too worship, well said to you too, cos you are right about biggles. I only met him once but have to say he was so down to earth (albeit a little tipsy ha ha ) and just a nice guy really, no airs and graces. What you see is what you get with him. :thumbup:

I dont mind bonns or clyde or anyone that i would be in regular contact with whispering to me. Its the single males i never spoke to or who arent est and who think i want to have chatroom sex. eh no thanks. but anyone who id know from posting or from chatting openly in the chatroom with is fine to whisper me. but the blow ins and those we never spoke to shouldnt whisper
i was hopping arround the rooms last nite came in to a room only one male there i was less then 5 mins in room and he whispered me i said in main chat you should ask to whisper as they are the rules . he said that it was his room and it was allowed but there was no saying that on room name i do have whispers on as i open my room xxxxxx

You were trying to make out that Biggles was 'toadying' for the girls' acceptance, Tom4. Totally un-necessary and only reflects badly on yourself, that does!!! The original point you made about guys not reading the posts here and learning some manners from them is valid - but there was no need to belittle Biggles for posting it. He's as entitled to post here as you are yourself - whatever your opinion may be.

Tom, what is the golden circle? Is it some kind of click? I dont like clicks. Clicks are for people who need strength in numbers and dont feel as important individually. When it comes to clicks I would consider myself a lone wolf, rather than a pack member
The best advice is to ignore the uninvited whispers or the taunts. Take a record of the profile name, the chat room and the time and log an official complaint. Maintain a dignified silence and let admin or the mods deal with it behind the scenes and deny these attention seekers the outcome they are seeking...... uproar on the chat room. I understand that it is hard to bite your tongue or allow the incident to continue, but my attitude is 'give them enough rope and let them hang themselves'. It's soooo frustrating to have to deal with an incident retrospectively, obtain the chat logs and find that someone has come into a chat room to be deliberately antagonistic. 9 times out of 10 you will find they get a reaction and they are centre stage in a verbal sparring match...... people please you are just playing into their hands. You have given attention to someone who otherwise would have been ignored in the chat room and in this case would seem to feel any reaction is an interaction. Also to those who choose to react, just because you did not start it does not mean you are free to retort by any means. Digs and jibes are counter productive and evidence would suggest it only escalates the matter and prolongs it.

Tom i pay my membership here so i do have a right to post what ever topic i want in this forum so longing it doesnt break the rules of the point of the thread if u managed to read it in the first place is the constant whispering in the chatroom without permission.

nah, im friendly with everyone and dont wish to take sides in any dispute, but would aim to find common ground to resolve one. However should someone be out of line and in the wrong, I wouldnt hesitate to say it regardless if I was friendly with them or not. I dont do politics, but treat all who get in contact with me with the same respect that they treat me with. I have been wrong on certain issues in the past and upon realising these wrongs, have been able to make them right. But thanks for the heads up.

As a general statement of fact....the rules on this site were for the most part put in place due to popular demand. The whispering rule is one in particular. Unwanted whispering annoys people. It disrupts chat, thereby disrupting the chat experience for all.
Yes, the rules can be abused by both sides. But it's the spirit of the rule which is important. The idea is to prevent annoyances. Mods do not enjoy kicking people. If we had our way we would never kick anyone.
Whispering is a good feature when used properly and with manners. Turning them off should be a last resort.
