Being Established!

Hi, I thought the purpose of establishing people was confirmation that you had met? I never establish users until I have met them! What's the point in having the established option. if people are just going to click "establish" if they have have chatted for a while!!!!!! it serves no purpose. Photo verification is definitely the next step. I am both established and photo verified, whilst I sometimes feel the need to have these extra marks againt your profile, both are important, if only to remove the time wasters. Just my thoughts. Padds thats a good point on the established option, for reasons I wont go into here some ppl do use the established option for ppl they dont know nor have ever met, in fact it has just been done to me now by someone I have no clue, needless to say I deleted it. The verified pic system is another option which I keep meaning to use, but being a cam user Im not too pushed at the moment, plus I have prvt pics for those I want to let see. But in honesty any system is only as genuine as the users, we have ppl who are genuine and we have ppl who are chancers, and when the chancers start abusing the system, then its hard sometimes to know who is genuine and who isn't. So for me I also observe lots in chat to suss ppl out also, and overall have not met a chancer yet.

We totally agree with you Padds. Surely the whole idea of establishing someone is to say that you have met them and they are who they say they are. You can't know this just from chatting to someone.

people that have established me r people i have met face to face.. and ive also got my pics verified... there r lots more ive met face to face but havent got round to establishing them smile

I have Only established people I have met in person. If I have a bit of fun with them I might comment but i dont go into any great detail. What goes on behind closed doors etc.

We agree Padds,,Great point.... We have established a few people in here,,but,,Only those We have actually met.. No way would We do it otherwise!

I guess if you were a complete saddo, in theory you could open a second account and establish yourself. I hate to think that some of the established tags are not genuine.

I have only established people I have met, and have no problem leaving a comment on someone's profile. I don't feel a need to have my pics verified, I am in the chatrooms, attended a meet and greet so in my opinion that is enough to show others I am genuine.

That was my point exactly corkhot, the system is only as genuine as the ppl who use it, its not fool proof, nothing is guarenteed.
