Are we Sex addicts or have we just a heightened interest in sex?
We are all aware how we can have a nicotine, coffee or chocolate addiction/dependency, so why not SEX?
Or if not addicts is there a dependency?
Do we need that buzz of excitement we get from the initial contact, the meet, the lead-up to the fun & the orgasmic release.
It is known that those that are involved in sports (training regularly) or on the stage get a lift from the endorphins released in their system.
Those training regularly can feel unwell if they don’t train & get their daily dose of adrenaline.
If Sex & Swinging is not an addiction or a dependency what is it?

Yes Alan, from what I can tell you are indeed a sex addict (no offense intended, I'm not 100 percent sure), and it would seem that so are most of the people on this site, I on the other hand am more of an internet addict, this is just one of the many things I have to log into everyday to get my fix, although a lot of the other sites don't do anything for me sexually, especially the internet banking....out of all of them I find this site is the most addictive, I know you're you're probably talking out meets and not the site but unless you're going out of your way to meet people every night one could only call it a mild addiction, you could even class it as a hobby.

This sums up how I feel about my swinging lifestyle..
I am certainly not a sex addict, I use two swinging sites to satisfy my sexual needs, fantasies ect...
If I found that this lifstyle began to eat into my family, private life ect then I would take a break to be honest..

Like all addictions its only an addiction if causes you to not function correctly without the stimuli that the addiction apparently offers.

but does it affect my daily functioning as a person? No!
Do I find it Hard to start the day without sex? No!
Does it cause me to neglect other area's of my life in a constant search for that next 'Hit'? No!

I dont feel we are sex addicts, we enjoy a very healthy sex life but our everyday duties come first. Then wild hot sweaty sex lol
In answer to your question NO, but like Titan I do often think of sex, but it doesnt affect my ability to function or do my job, attend to my family or various other interests, so as Virgo & rhino put it it is a HOBBY, all be it an enjoyable hobby and certainly more fun than train spotting or stamp collecting.
