Hi, hope its okay but there are a few points, as a complete novice to chatrooms...and to swinging...that come to mind after reading these posts.
When i venture into the chatrooms i find its not what the whisperers say that puts me off, its just that it is distracting and makes following the main chat more difficult.
I also understand why some people would find some of those comments/requests offensive but I guess we are all looking for something different from our real lives so it follows that there is going to be a proportion of members who ARE looking for that 'quick fix' as someone said earlier. Live and let live. If it's not what I want, i can and will just say no thanks.
I know much of it is blatant trawling by these whisperers on the off chance of getting lucky, with no thought for who i am or what i want, but i dont feel offended. For me anyway, i have to admit that bad offers are better than no offers at all.
Also, the 'no strings attached' philosophy i see mentioned on site alot is something i'm having difficulty fathoming and it does add to my confusion. I understand why swinging would have to be NSA but it feels at odds with the whole preamble of building friendships before taking the next step into something physical, something that i hear alot of the members saying they want from prospective chatters. That doesn't sound very NSA to me. The one thing i dont want to do is inadvertantly offend people on this site but, as a new venturer, i don't know or understand what many of the rules are yet and its kinda hard to know how best to engage.
There's no point to my points, i just wanted to share them!
