social nights like this can be a great opportunity to catch up with friends, or make new ones.
Just a bit of feedback from my own point of view - if the nights are held on a Friday it may limit who can attend - I work until 6pm on a Friday, and live in Belfast, so am unlikely to be able to attend, which may also be the case for others who live a little bit further afield. If it was on a Saturday however then I'd certainly make the effort to try and get to one of the gatherings
