I have been so surprised with the responses on this thread, i honestly thought it would have been removed. I started the thread because i was thinking of ppl i have lost to cancer and thought it may help others on the site who have lost loved ones or are suffering themselves, i didn't think when i started it, i would get a letter saying i need another check in six months myself, there is a family history of cervical cancer in my family and i have had a near miss before so started this thread to help others may in turn help me.
On a side note, thank you Alan and Cutie for been so understanding when i got upset xxxx We don't agree with been nasty to ppl who ask to meet us but we have stated on our profile we are on a break and if we get asked in chat for a meet we just say look at our profile rather than having a go at ppl, maybe if ppl checked out the profile of the person they are going to ask to meet before they do it, ppl may not be rude to them. It`s very easy to go into chat and jump on the first person that takes your fancy so to speak but if you don't take your time to read their profile and know what they are looking for you will end up with egg on your face. That's why we have profile after all, so we can let ppl know what we are looking for and in turn find ppl who want the same thing, ok we all want sex but that's not all there is to it, is the person we want bi, straight ect? You wont know that unless you look at the profiles.
We have made some exceptions while on our break, but it was worth it lol.
The abusers are let walk around and if they get any hassle from the public they can run straight to the police who will protect them, while victims get no protection at all. It is not just strangers who abuse, but most of the time they get caught, what about family that abuse children? How many of those kids are going to be brave enough to speak up and have their abuser punished? It doesn't matter what an abuse victim does in this country they will be abused by the system and all the government departments just because some sick twisted person done things to them against their will. So while some of us may heal some what from our physical abuse the damage done by people who are meant to protect us will never heal.
