alan,,,,,,thank you so much for starting this thread and everything you said it soooo true ,,,it was one of the most fantastic night and as the organiser i would like to thank everyone that came it was a fantastic turn out,,,, i wanted to try to see how a meet letting everyone who wanted to go guys girls and cpls with no preferances made to one r other,,,,well i have to say it was a fantastic mix of ppl ,,cpls ,,girls (alll yummmieee) and guys everyone got on soo well and everyone was sooo discrete you couldent tell us from any other xmas party there,,hotel was fantastic reserved the exact area that we wanted ,,,allowing smokers and non smokers to be togeather,,which at a meet i find isss so important caus you dont have one outside and one inside,,(me smoker hubbie not) we couldent have asked for a better turn out,,, all that didnt show you missed a great night,,but i know how ppl decide at last min not to go as feel so uncomfortable but it so not like that everyone so keen to chat to everyone the miniute they arive,,,so all you that didnt show dont be afraid to come next time ,, I HAVE A BIG SPECIAL THANK YOU TO AMBER MY SEXY SWEETHEART I COULDENT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT YOU :love: worship

mrcork,,hun i am in mayo and have tried sorting something for closer but dub always seems to be a better option,,,there was a meet in mayo sometime last year and it was a disaster so from experience dublin always seems a better option,,,,all that said i would deff be interested in a midlands meet xxxxxx

ya it a great idea in theory but just doesnt seem to work when ppl try to organise,,,personally i would love to go as it would be much closer for me,,,but we alwasy seem to end up in dublin and you cant beat a night out in dublin,,,,but if you do decide to organise one ,,,we will defff attend drinkies
