I attended the Clinic in the Mater and it was totally free. The staff were good and I'd no problems. The test started with them asking questions and then there was a physical followed by the taking of a blood sample. Lads the physical did involve the taking of a sample from down the head of my penis with a needle type implement being placed inside the penis slighly (the equivalent of a female swab I presume), anyway it sounds worse than it was, it was more unnerving and a little uncomfortable than painfull and was over in a minute or two. She gave me the option (oh yeah it was a woman doctor :lol: ) of just the bloods but I thought fuck I'll try anything once :lol:. It could have showed something the bloods wouldn't alone I presume (or maybe they're just sadists..).
Anyway people all we can do is try to be as safe as is reasonably possible and get tested often and if a problem is found then deal with it like the grown adults we are. No point in avoiding the issue, thinking it may not happen to you and carrying on regardless.
Don't forget keep em wraped!
