Hi all, I'm going to go to Connemara for a few days and was wondering if anyone wants to come along for the break. Won't be the ritz or anything and will involve music, drink, late nights, laughing (dare I say it) meeting up with old friends and new. No plan really laid out except starting night will most likely be Tully, near Renvyle and most definitely a night in Clifden as well. You never know we might end up with a gang of us 8)

Hi Alan - if we all were to avoid ex boyfriends/girlfriends of others then we would never meet anyone new. We are all somewhat separated and definitely all have ex's in our past. So why limit it to only people on this site? If they are at a meet and greet and wish to be with you then what is the problem? They are adults and can make up their own mind as to whether or not to be with someone. If someone cannot reconcile the fact that they are about to shag someone who has already been with someone from the site before them, then that is the bigger issue really. The issue is with the perciever of there being an issue in the first place... Hope that makes sense cos it does to me.

I agree with Sean - I've not been to a "party" per see but did goi to a meet and greet in Carlow which lasted the weekend. I went on my own, never met anyone before and hadn't even chatted online either as I came from a diff site. Anyway we all met in the bar and people were so friendly and spoke with absolutely everyone. There was noone making you nervous at all, only welcome. In fact I was recommended this site from that meet. People will take you as you are and only as much as you want to give. No pressures at all and I highly recommend just doing it. That was my experience anyway. Yes I ended up pairing off as well so the fact that everyone "seems" to know each other is irrelevant. People chat here as if they have known you for life - even if it is your first time to say hi in the chat rooms. This is definitely the friendliest environment I have ever found myself in. Hope this helps calm your nerves a little.
