I've only been a member of the site since the end of January this year and started off first by going into the forums, which are great fun in reality and then I stuck my head into the chat rooms and not knowing anyone said hi etc... ad have always got a direct reply hello from anyone I've greeted. If the converstaion id flowing between some people as it does sometimes it can be very daunting but there is always an opening for a grin after someone says something that makes you smile and if you ut the persons name beside that smile you will get included into the conversation with all there. Sounds easy and is actually cos everyone so far has just been so friendly and inclusive. Well that is my experience - but I can't shut up either so maybe easier for me anyway 
Don't give up too easy.... as Sean says the benefits of new friends are worth the effort...

for native english speakers it definitely has to be from Ulster, but more west than east, just sounds sooo melodic to me.
