I know your looking for a cpl but i am in Dublin myself and free most of the day and evening. Maybe not what your looking for but worth a try 
there are some (dublin) hotels that have a "day" rate... ie. not an overnight booking. do a search for dayuse-hotels
if you are looking for a "love hotel" as you get in Tokyo, Paris and other places, sadly that's not available yet.
