If you really want to get verified guys dont disappear off the face of the earth the day before the meet or suddenly your dog dies..car broken down..etc etc.. If you chicken out, tell the person we were all newbies once and suffering with nerves, or text them to say can't make it.. it goes a long way towards a possible second change at meeting.
A no show in my books is the worst thing you can do, us girlies talk ya know!

Introduce yourself to the community. Any of the newbies I meet along the way who are sound I am quite happy to leave a comment on their profile, it all helps. Fakes will always get spotted.
Finally and most importantly - if you do agree to meet somebody for coffee or fun [b:4f7d2c15c6]do not[/b:4f7d2c15c6] stand them up. Single guys have a reputation for that and unfortunately for good reason.
