They're not 'gone' - you have them hidden 
Go to "My Account" [left of screen]
Click on "Settings"
Use the "Privacy" Tab [above ^ ^ ]
Then make sure that the option for "..Quick Comments.." are checked [and enabled]
Then save your settings [there's other things there you might want to review too]
and Hey! Presto! Your comments will return, like magic at the foot of your profile.

Your comments are visible I can see them, what way are you viewing your profile. Try this way, to the <<<<<click on profile, then click on the view tab, you will see your profile the same way members see it. Scroll down to the bottom and your comments are there.
