Alan-Ball has left the room.
This is probably the hardest post I have ever written but the time has come to move on & discover the life outside of Swng4ireland.
In leaving I would like to thank all those I have met & chatted to, despite what the newspapers may say â€œmeet&greetsâ€ were occasions to meet friends & make new friends, they were not mass orgies and all the people were very normal not a perv among them.
I have loved every minute, day, hour & year of my time on S4i, in that time I have discovered lots about myself , met lovely people & made great friends.
I would also like to thank all those that encouraged me to start threads, the forum readers & fellow posters, I will miss the forums but it is time to pass the mantle on to others, there is some great new posters in the forums.
I would especially like to thanks Bonnyclyde for being friends & King Tart Clyde for the breakfast fun, Bliss-abyss a fellow Gemini, Dora for being dora & for her friendship, Desdemona for letting me be her friend, Mona we will still share pancakesâ€¦lol.. Dragonstar a very special friend, Lemrac for controlling clyde in breakfast, Lucyluvsit for being Lucy, always friendly & welcoming & making me laugh, Mulderntcell for all the fun in forums, & Marieandu4121 for organising great fun evenings.
I would also like to thanks admin for their support of the Christmas Naughty Angels Appeal
Finally I would like to thanks the mods, without whom the site would ground to a halt, Amber, Avalon, Bongo, Eponymous, Slightlysexy & Sherri I am sure I tried their patience in the forums.
apologies to anyone I have forgotten.
It has been fun, remember to keep it fun

Alan...my without doubt, my dearest friend and confidant on the site. There is no such thing as me 'letting' you be my friend....that role is my privilge and my honour. Blessings come into our lives in the strangest of ways and in the strangest of packages (eh...no...i;m not calling you strange or a package....or am I,,,ah who cares....lol) Alan...i adore you.....i love our morning breakfasts...that last so long they turn into afternoon tea......they'll put a special reserve on that corner table for us at this stage!!! You have been my run by guy, when i am thinking of a thread....and your texts of approvals mean a hell of a lot to me. I;ve seen this parting coming a long time.....and you know how I feel about it....it does not need to be said in here. First time i met you at one of maries meet i knew we would be friends , It has been one of the pleasure of my time on here to meet you ,a lovely kind person who you chat to any time . Alan ball has finally left the room...
Well I have just had my last coffee

in brekkie club..its time to go.
Alan-Ball finally joins the ranks of the great UNKNOWN in forums.
To all that have mailed, texted & phones me in recent days , Thank You, most of you still know where to find me so donâ€™t be strangers & a cuppa:coffee: is always waiting.
To those that have posted on this thread, again Thank You â€¦ my time on Swing has been an amazing experience â€¦ who ever could imagine you could make friends & meet normal people on a site allegedly full of perverts (I am writing to the newspapers to complain about in-accurate reporting & ask admin for a refundâ€¦lol)
To anyone I may have upset, angered, or crossed swords with in my time here SORRY.
My forum threads were posted to elicit thoughtful discussion & debate, again Thanks to all that took the time to post replies & hopefully we all learnt something & in some cases modified our opinions.
